Since Simon was an Archaeology professor, I thought about how awesome it would be if he had also been like Indiana Jones. I’m amused by the idea, at least.

“Simon’s Fate”

Oops, my hand slipped.

I’ve seen quite a few image macros and whatnot featuring Simon with the line “you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain” from The Dark Knight. Of course, it’s very fitting, but I thought I’d try and mix it up a bit by using this line from Shutter Island, although, granted, its meaning is pretty similar.

To those of my followers who’ve stuck around who haven’t been on board with all my Adventure Time/Simon craziness, I apologize. I’ll start posting something different soon. I think. Maybe. I can’t make any guarantees. But to all the new followers I’ve acquired these past few weeks, welcome aboard, and thank you!

These two are so adorably nerdy. I’m sure most of their time together was spent reading or studying. <3

I recently got Manga Studio, and figuring out how to work it has been…interesting. I’m so used to doing all my art on Adobe programs, so working on MS has been like trying to write with my left hand. For the most part, I really like how the drawing tools work, but the text/dialogue functions are a complete joke. Bleh.

So…hey, I drew Simon because of course I did.

I’d imagine that Simon hated the nighttime, after Marceline had gone to bed, because it was then that he was again left alone to face his demons…

Aahhhh why do I keep drawing sad stuff?! Someone help!
